What's the difference between the Ambie Dashboard and Remote?

How to manage with your Ambie players, with the Ambie Dashboard and Ambie Remote.

There are two ways for our customers to interact with the Ambie system; firstly using the Dashboard, which allows users more control and flexibility, whereas the remote less so.

Let's delve deeper into both these solutions.

The Ambie Dashboard:

The Dashboard gives head office complete control over the management of their Ambie players, along with the individual music schedules assigned to them, across all of their locations. You'll also be able to control and feedback on the music playing in each site, as well as having a convenient way of previewing your individual playlists.

The Ambie Remote:

Once your Ambie Player is online, the Ambie Remote is the easiest way for you to control the music, by enabling on-site users to give feedback on tracks, adjust volume and get visibility over what’s playing.

Once you've logged into your Ambie account, you can use the Ambie Remote to do the following:

  • View the name of the playlist/artist/track playing now
  • Play/Pause the music
  • Control the volume of the music
  • View (but not amend) the weekly music schedule assigned to your Ambie player
  • Temporarily override to alternative playlists
  • Feedback and report on individual tracks
  • Chat with the Ambie Support Team
  • Skip tracks (limited to three track skips per hour)

If you should encounter any difficulties with your Ambie system, then please do get in touch and email us at support@ambie.fm
