How Do You Reduce Repeats and When Are The Playlists Updated?

We aim to update all our playlists at least once a month by 15-30%. We do sometimes update playlists weekly, depending on the style of music. We also have the Smart Shuffle algorithm, which constantly rotates songs in and out of the playlists, keeping it fresh.
