The Music Has Stopped! What Should I Do?

Modified on Sun, 7 May, 2023 at 1:41 AM

What to do if you have no music.

If your music has stopped unexpectedly, the quickest way of getting it started again depends on the colour of light pulsing on your Ambie player.

In most instances, you'll find that the light on your Ambie player has turned blue.

The first thing to check is that there is definitely a playlist scheduled. Check whether there is a playlist scheduled. The schedule can be checked from the Ambie Remote and Ambie Dashboard.

If there is definitely a playlist scheduled, but you still have a blue light pulsing on the Ambie player, then the quickest way to fix this is usually by rebooting the Ambie player.

To reboot the Ambie player, you should do the following:

  1. Go to where the Ambie player is located.
  2. Remove the power cable from the Ambie Player.
  3. Wait 2-5 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cable back in to the Ambie player.

If the music doesn't recommence within 5 minutes of your reconnecting the power cable in to the Ambie player, then please make us aware by emailing support@ambie.fm.
